I also had the chance to go whale watching last month. It was amazing!!! We saw at least 7 or 8 blue whales. Yes, those are the biggest animal on earth. They were huge. It was such a great experience. You should definitely go. I went with San Diego Whale Watching.
I do have to say, it is an interesting feeling riding out to sea, and knowing the water is 400ft deep under me right now. Nothing for as far as I can see, and seeing and knowing the power of the ocean. That the Lord says, "Here shall your proud waves stop." and He has walked the recesses of the deep. We serve an awesome God. Humbling and exciting day. You should do it sometime.
My name is Allyson. I have recently started a new adventure. I got married to the most amazing man!! The Lord continues to teach and mold me in every area and time of life I'm in. If you are viewing this you probably know me. If not I hope you come to know the Christ, the one that is the Source of all Life, and the reason I do everything. I hope you enjoy. Phil. 1:20-21

Crafts
So I have been a phase lately that I really enjoy, and hope that others will enjoy. I have been getting old frames, and making different things from them. Jewelry hangers, and chalk board really. Anyway, just a few pics of my crafts this week. One is a Jewelry holder, and the other pics are the whole process of me making the chalk board. By the way, I had no idea that there is paint that makes normal wood into a chalkboard. haha Let me know what you think.

Malatya
4 years ago today April 18, 2007, 3 men were killed in Malatya, Turkey for sharing Christ to others. Necati, Tilman, and Ugur. These men committed their lives to the Lord, and gave their lives for Him. Two left behind families, and one left a fiance. I remember that time very clearly. Not because of the sudden fear that day brought, or not knowing if there were more of our brothers that were killed, or not knowing if it was a large attack on multiple believers. What keeps this clear in my mind is what I had the privilege to see and be a part of after. In the days following these men's sacrifice I saw the Church stand up and say "It is not the time to fear, but to share." "For Necati death is gain, but for us now to live is Christ." I heard of new believers from that day forward when they are baptized being asked "Do you know by doing this today you could be killed? Yes." Two widows proclaiming to their nation why their husbands lived, and died. Sharing Christ.
Standing in the back of a worship service, at a camp. Singing, "My life is in You Lord, my hope is in You Lord, my strength is in You Lord." When the band stopped and said, "Last week we lost our brothers, before we keep singing I want us to really think about what we are singing, this truth. Our life, hope, and strength is in the Lord." Then a pastor in the back as we started singing again starting to bounce, hands lifting up, and so excited to sing this truth, not caring that our camp was surrounded by the Gendarma (special police) because of the threats. Only excited that his life is in You Lord.
The next week, sitting in a room full of women. Talking about the fear that had come, and also what the Lord had been doing through it. Hearing the prayers of women saying and I quote, "Lord please give us the grace to handle it and honor you when we are faced with dying for You." Then breaking out in singing It Is Well With My Soul. Tears streaming down all of our faces singing to our Lord, we know what it means to live here, and it is well with my soul.
So today, not only am I remembering and thanking God for what He has done. I am praying for my brothers and sisters in Turkey. I'm praying for the wives, and children of the men killed. I'm praying for the Church to be bold, and share the Name that is above every Name. I'm praying for special friends that I love so much to come to Christ, and turn from the darkness of Islam. I am praying that the Church around the world (starting with me) would say, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Please join me in praying for Turkey today.

Girl's Night
We had a blast!!! In the last 7 months I have grown to love these girls more than they know. I have enjoyed our monthly Girl's Nights, and have been very challenged by them. I love studying, and learning with these girls. I love that the theme of our ministry is:
"Resolved: To be women bonded in love striving to exalt Christ through discipleship in actively learning His Word."
I pray that we continue to grow in this very thing, and that we grow together in being bonded in love. Love you girls!

Texas!!!!!!!!!!
Last month we got to go visit our wonderful family in Texas. We miss them so much, and it was a much needed, much anticipated trip. We loved every minute of just hanging out with family. We also got to eat, eat, and eat some more. I have to say Texas does have some goooooood food. It was really fun. We also got a chance to see the Alamo, and the San Antonio River Walk. I have to say all of it fascinated me, and I really enjoyed it. We love you guys, and miss you still. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful trip.

Wilhite Studios
Wilhite Studios is starting a new part of our photography business. We are selling these framed word photography. Not quite sure what to call it yet, but we are really excited about it. If you cannot tell the words in the pictures are: grace, hope, and love. If you are interested in any of these or would like to order a custom word, or name let me know. I'm so excited this picture was taken in an antique shop in old town Murrieta. Simply Friends Antique Shop is selling our work. We are also selling directly to anyone that wants them. Please pray for us to be wise in our business dealings, and that if the Lord desires for this to actually begin selling.
Well, I am just excited.
